Dr Hamid Haqparwar who currently leads the sales and marketing team at BMW Group Middle East will step in as its new Managing Director, with effect from October 1.

Dr Haqparwar possesses years of experience in the automotive industry and has handled different senior positions at BMW before he was appointed as the director of sales and marketing of the company’s Middle East wing.

Dr Haqparwar replaces Johannes Seibert who stepped down from the position on July 31 this year.

Ahead of joining BMW Middle East Group, Dr Haqparwar provided his services as the Director Sales and Director Sales Channel Development for BMW India. The Middle East market is, however, not new to him being the region’s Sales Area Manager and the Head of Product Management in the region from 2008 to 2012.

Dr Haqparwar replaces Johannes Seibert who stepped down from the position on July 31 this year.
