Dubai’s popular Ripe Market is back outdoors for November with a brand new location and Chevrolet is joining the fun with its first-ever electric car for the Middle East and Africa, the Bolt EV.
Just in time for the UAE’s colder winter months, Ripe Market will be kicking off its outdoor season on 23 November from its new permanent location in the Dubai Police Academy Park in Umm Suqeim. Ripe Market runs every Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm, promising to fill weekends up with lots of entertainment and activities for everyone to be part of.
In addition to the farmers’ market, food truck, arts and crafts, sports activities, music, and petting zoo attractions, Ripe Market visitors can also take a closer look at the Chevrolet Bolt EV. The Bolt EV offers an unprecedented NEDC-rated (New European Driving Cycle) 520km of range, putting to rest the concerns of customers willing to make the switch to electric cars but holding back over range anxiety.
The 2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV will be available to test drive to market goers so they can get a feel for the car themselves. Visitors will also be walking away with a few surprises from Chevrolet.
The American manufacturer has collaborated with Ripe Market for the entire season of events across the UAE where the Bolt EV will be presented. Below is the calendar for the season.
