The popular SUV from South Korean carmaker Hyundai recently entered a new generation in its life cycle and has now marked its UAE debut. The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe offers stylish looks, increased space, innovative technology, and enhanced safety features.
Juma Al Majid Est., the exclusive distributor of Hyundai Motors in the UAE has announced the arrival of the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe. The fourth-generation SUV sets a new benchmark in its segment with an outstanding new design, several innovative technology features, and advanced safety systems.
Director of Hyundai UAE Ghassan Naser said, “Santa Fe is an iconic brand of Hyundai and one of the top customer favourites. The fourth-generation Santa Fe builds on its strong legacy, with enhanced features across every aspect – from design to performance and safety – adding to the driving pleasure. More spacious and with several conveniences packed into one powerful SUV, the new Santa Fe also assures excellent value, which makes it appealing to motorists.”
The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe sits at the top of the South Korean automaker’s SUV offerings, featuring an elegant and bold design. For the UAE, Hyundai is offering a choice between two powertrains: a Theta II 2.4-litre inline-four that makes 170hp, and a Lambda II 3.5-litre V6 motor putting out 276hp. You can also specify your preferred transmission, between a six-speed or an eight-speed automatic. Optional next-generation HTRAC four-wheel-drive technology is also available which provides enhanced torque application, making the 2019 Santa Fe ideal for off-road as well as regular road conditions.
For 2019, Hyundai has liberated more legroom inside the range-topping SUV and has added a one-touch walk to the third row. This enables passengers to access the rear seats easily. The all-new Santa Fe does not skimp on safety either. There are six airbags to ensure driver and passenger protection. New safety systems include Safety Exit Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with pedestrian detection, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Collision Warning.
The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe also has a head-up display that provides information such as speed, navigation commands, and fuel level. Rear visibility is improved, and there are several new features such as blind spot collision warning, rear occupant alert, and Hyundai SmartSense for active safety and driving assistance. The SUV is also well-appointed when it comes to creature comforts such as a 7-inch screen with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch infotainment system integrating navigation, media, and connectivity features.
