Lincoln has started offering the all-new 2019 model year MKC crossover in the UAE. The American automaker first launched the MKC here three years ago to great response.
The 2019 Lincoln MKC takes its design influence from other cars in the American firm’s lineup which is evident from the new front grille, headlights, and wheel designs. LED lighting all around gives the crossover a premium appeal, while tastefully garnished chrome accents underline its luxurious proposition.
Lincoln has appointed the MKC’s interior with plush upholstery with soft-touch materials and a range of options. These include cooled front seats, USB charging ports, and a touchscreen infotainment system with optional navigation. The interior has also been fitted with Active Noise Control to keep ambient noises from seeping into the cabin.
Microphones are strategically placed around the interior to monitor the sound profile inside. The sounds they pick up are duplicated and inverted by a signal processor which creates an opposite acoustic wave. This sound wave is quietly relayed by speakers in the cabin to cancel out unwanted noise.
The 2019 Lincoln MKC uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder motor that has been designed to offer exciting performance as well as fuel efficiency. The engine makes 245hp and boasts of some highly impressive mechanical features, three of which help the crossover return good fuel economy.
Prices for the 2019 Lincoln MKC start at AED 169,995 including VAT.
