Aston Martin has been tight-lipped about the Zagato built Vanquish for the past one year. In August 2017, the company gave us nothing more than a few teaser images of the shooting brake version of the car that was dubbed in a lady-in-red gown. Thankfully, that has been recently changed.

Aston Martin might have hit the right notes in terms of looks. Up ahead, the car faithfully borrows the traditional Aston look while having a very Lotus-like rear quarter, coupled with bits of Jaguar in between. The car sports aggressive sharp lines from tip-to-tail supplemented by a two-tone design that adds to its undeniable sporty looks.

Dubbing a typical shooting brake, the two seats of the car is fashioned with satisfying Zagato “Z” logos that are pressed into the beautiful saddle-brown leather. The car sports several carbon bits, giving the interiors a classy and modern touch.

Probably the most eye-grabbing feature about the saloon would be the roof. In a “V” shape which rides along the curvature of the roof, the Vanquish splits the roof right in the middle. Cosmetics might score differently than the standard Vanquish, meanwhile, Aston has chosen the naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V-12 into the shooting brake.

Aston only built 99 Zagato Coupes, 99 Zagato Volantes and 28 Zagato Speedsters. Not surprisingly, in 2017, all of these had already sold out.
