Dubai-based ride-hailing firm Careem has signed an agreement with Private Limousine to manage its fleet and accommodate customers.

Private Limousine has been in the business of providing chauffeured limousine service in the UAE since 2006. The firm will now use Careem mobile and web platforms to allow corporate companies to book drivers and track their time of arrival.

Private Limousine will leverage Careem's fleet management platform to streamline its services.

Careem said that Private Limousine is the first such company to use its fleet management service which is designed to do it in an autonomous way. “As a technology organisation, we are extremely happy to see the need of our technology and how it serves many corporate entities to deliver the best services,” said Bassel Al Nahlaoui, Managing Director of Careem Gulf. “This agreement comes as a part of Careem’s aims to provide comprehensive solutions to our corporate clients and fulfil their needs across the Gulf region and beyond.”

Careem can now claim to be one of the fastest-expanding ride-hailing services in the Middle East. It also launched a new bus-hailing service in Egypt which it intends to expand to Pakistan and the UAE in the near future. With Private Limousine leveraging its platform, Careem will now be seen as a provider of high-quality services in the area it operates in.
