Earlier this year, Toyota expanded the Corolla lineup in the Middle East with the addition of the hatchback and the estate body types. The sedan joined later in 2018, and there is a new, limited-edition, feature-loaded trim on offer based on the sedan.
The 2019 Toyota Corolla XLi Exclusive is fitted with exclusive options not available on the standard trims of any Corolla. The options begin with front fog lights and a rear spoiler attached to the boot lid. Inside, the multifunction steering wheel is wrapped in leather, and so is the gear lever. Toyota also offers a sunroof with the limited edition Corolla.
The Toyota Corolla XLi Exclusive offers cosmetic upgrades such as a rear spoiler and fog lamps.
A number of safety features have also been added to the midsize saloon. You get a tyre pressure warning system, rear fog lights, and a vehicle stability system. ISO-fix points for baby seats and two airbags are also part of the XLi Exclusive trim.
The Toyota Corolla runs on a 1.6-litre inline-four petrol engine that makes 121hp and 157Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a Multidrive 7S transmission, making for a best-in-class fuel economy of 18.1kpl.
Inside, leather inserts on certain elements of the cabin make for a premium feel befitting a limited-edition model.
Customers can specify their limited-edition Corolla from a total of eight options of exterior paint finishes including the popular white colour with matching door handles and mirrors.
The 2019 Toyota Corolla XLi Exclusive starts from AED 75,500 inclusive of VAT. Toyota now has the popular midsize sedan on offer in the UAE.
