GMC has signed up skilled motocross athlete Mohammed Al Balooshi as its new Middle East brand ambassador. The news comes after the elite motorsport athlete returns from yet another successful Dakar Rally.
Mohammed Al Balooshi completed his second consecutive Dakar Rally in 2019 in South America. The Emirati motocross champion was the only Arab to finish the so-called toughest race on the planet. His performance at Dakar earned him a reputation as one of the finest motorsport stars in the Middle East.
Mohammed Al Balooshi has been participating in the very best of motocross championships across the world for almost twenty years now.
Al Balooshi was named the Best Athlete in the UAE by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sport Award. He also became the first Arab to win a world title in an FIM off-road championship by winning the 2018 FIM Bajas World Cup.
Before his string of successes in 2018, Al Balooshi was already one of the most well-respected names in rally circles, having competed at the pinnacle of this extreme sport for almost two decades. Al Balooshi takes his status as a role model to younger generations responsibly. He owns and operates the MX Academy in the UAE, from where he teaches youngsters to ride.

Al Balooshi was the only Arab to finish the 2019 Rally Dakar, the toughest race on the planet.
