Following an official release on Monday, UAE’s largest dealer for General Motors, Liberty Automobiles announced that it will be ending its journey with the American automaker after 43 years of operation in the country.
The company has been serving as an official dealer for General Motors since it was established back in 1976. Over the years, Liberty Automobiles Co. has played an integral part in the growth of General Motors and emerged as one of the leading distributors in the entire region.
Liberty automobiles is one of the most renowned vehicle dealers with six showrooms across the country.
Subsequently, Al Ghandi Auto will now be assigned as the Cadillac Dealer for the UAE and Chevrolet Dealer for Sharjah, Um Al Quwain, Ajman, and Fujairah. While the reason for such a decision was not mentioned by the company, the release said: “As for Liberty Automobiles Company, we are always exploring new opportunities, hence, we are currently working with our strategic partners to define our strategy for the next 10 years.”
