Automechanika Dubai, the largest automotive service trade show in the MEA region, will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 10th to 12th June. With over 1,800 exhibitors from over 61 countries, Automechanika Dubai is the perfect opportunity to network, explore new channels and generate leads from the MENA region. This 17th edition of this show will feature over six product groups across 23 country pavilions.
AMENA Automotive Association is the official association partner, presenting knowledge, insights, and anticipated future trends specific to the MENA region. Keynotes and panels by industry experts and association members will be delivered on June 10 and June 11 in the Innovation Zone.
The Middle Eastern automotive aftermarket is expected to reach $704 billion by 2025.
As many as 1,800 exhibitors from more than 60 countries will show up at Automechanika Dubai 2019.
“The Automechanika Dubai Market Outlook is an annual survey we conduct every year to ascertain the current situation in the regional aftermarket, where it’s headed, and where the potential opportunities are in the Middle East,” said Mahmut Gazi Bilikozen, Show Director for Automechanika Dubai. “It’s clear that the automotive industry, and the aftermarket as a result, is undergoing a rapid transformation, but it’s a positive indicator that industry professionals appear more confident their businesses can still survive and ultimately be more successful in a market that will no doubt look very different in years to come.”
What can attendees expect?
Automechanika serves as hub for the industry, with countless exhibitors, OEMs, and industry players in attendance. One of the major attractions at the show is the Automechanika Academy – an engaging platform to meet, network, and learn from key industry experts and thought leaders on the latest trends, new innovations, and changing dynamics of the automotive aftermarket sector.
In 2018, Automechanika introduced a brand new section called Innovation Zone, which saw global players such as Renault, WABCO, and Beissbarth present their latest products. AMENA will play a special part at this Innovation Zone in 2019, leading discussions and sharing insights with keynotes and panels on the topic of disruption, new business models in the value chain, accident and repair in the electric age, and growing business and selling more in the digital age.
Other highlights of Automechanika Dubai 2019 include AfriConnections, a platform that connects exhibitors with key African buyers, businesses, and networking personnel, a spotlight on Agricultural Parts and Equipment, and Training for Garage Professionals.
