The 17th edition of Automechanika Dubai, the largest international trade show for the automotive aftermarket and service industry in the MEA region will kick off in Dubai tomorrow for three days.

AMENA Automotive Association is the official association partner at this exhibition and will present key trends, insights, and anticipated future trends specific to the MENA region. Keynotes and panels by AMENA Automotive Association team members, industry experts and association members will be delivered on June 10 and June 11 in the Innovation Zone at Automechanika Dubai 2019.

Innovation Zone is an extension of the Automechanika Academy focussing on offering insights into the present and future of the Middle East and African automotive aftermarket. Automechanika Academy is aimed at creating engaging and informative platforms to meet, network and learn from key industry experts and thought leaders on the latest trends, automotive industry innovations and changing dynamics of the automotive aftermarket sector.

This year will feature a presentation highlighting the Middle East Automotive Industry Innovation survey results. This survey titled ‘Automotive Aftermarket by 2025’ commissioned by Automechanika Dubai, will present valuable insights into the sentiments of our aftermarket professionals who do business in the Middle East.

Participants at this year’s exhibition will get an opportunity to join a discussion with panelists that represent key industry stakeholders from the automotive aftermarket. The session will cover topics on the future of the market, the products involved and the impact of competition.

Seminars by Alan Whaley, Chairman of AMENA Automotive Association will cover a key topic highlighting what disruption in the overall automotive industry means for the automotive aftermarket industry. This session will cover the drivers of disruption in the aftermarket sector, unexpected knock-on effects and how stakeholders can future-proof themselves.

Cheyenne Kamran, Chief Strategist at AMENA Automotive Association will host a rapid-fire session exploring case studies covering huge transformations in the value chain of in-industry and outside industry players, and what the common threads and best practices are.

Another promising session to watch out for the innovation zone will be Digital Prospecting For Analog Traders, moderated by AMENA Automotive Association. This panel discussion will focus on how analog organizations can grow their business and sell more in a digital world.

Panelist for this session will be Hussein Dajani – GM Digital Customer Experience Transformation, Nissan Motor Corporation, Mike Khouri – Managing Director, Tactical Digital Agency and Tanveer Awan – Senior Director, Alvarez & Marsal.
