Nissan Middle East conducted its recent Annual Skills Contest and Awards Ceremony, recognizing the firm’s top sales and service employees from its National Sales Companies (NSC) based in the Middle East.
Over a course of three days, members from Nissan’s NSCs convened in Dubai to take part in a contest of knowledge, negotiation, vehicle service, and customer service. Sales executives, service advisors, and parts executives sat for written tests that gauged their knowledge and presence of mind across their respective categories.
Another test involved was a practical exercise involving roleplay where each contestant had to put on his/her best performance in customer service. An additional practical test was held for technicians where they were presented with a vehicle with tasks to resolve within a specified time.

Nissan is committed to providing seamless customer experiences and services, and as such the Nissan Middle East Skill Contest is its big part. Speaking at the occasion, Thierry Sabbagh, Managing Director at Nissan Middle East explained the importance of customer service for Nissan.
“We see success through operational excellence across our brand, product line-up, and how we connect with our customers. World Class customer experience and journey must be seamless and integrated, and the customer must always be placed in the heart of our planning and efforts. Data and insights will not solely govern success, it is up to the collaborative passion with our dealers that will differentiate Nissan amongst other brands.”
Sabbagh went on to add, “We would like to sincerely thank everyone who participated in the contest from all our dealerships across the markets. A recent study conducted by a global research company ranked some of our dealerships in the region as one of the highest for after-sales customer care and user satisfaction. This wouldn’t have been a reality without their continuous efforts.”
