French carmaker Groupe PSA has announced the appointment of Larbi Hbil as the new Head of Dealer Operations in the GCC. He will lead Peugeot’s expansion plan in the region and oversee the local distributor network. He will report to and work closely with Rakesh Nair, Groupe PSA Managing Director of the GCC. Larbi brings with him 25 years of experience in sales, business development, and regional operations management across various regions including Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He has worked in a variety of industries, including technology, automotive and aviation. Larbi was last posted as Managing Director of Volvo Group Trucks Middle East and Africa.

With the announcement, Groupe PSA has stated that, in his new role, Larbi will focus on continuing to build and expand Peugeot’s partner network, making Peugeot vehicles more accessible across the Middle East while enhancing marketing and operational efficiency. He will continue to optimise customer experience across all distribution channels in the region.

During his diverse career, Hbil has had a winning track record, delivering sales growth and leading multiple expansion plans as well as brand launches in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. He holds an Executive MBA in Leadership and Change from Hult International Business School and a post-graduate degree in Marketing from TIAS Business School, The Netherlands.
