Abdulilah Wazni, a well-recognized marketing veteran in the automotive industry has recently been appointed as Director, Marketing at Nissan Middle East FZE. Based in Dubai, and reporting to Thierry Sabbagh, Managing Director for Nissan Middle East, Wazni will lead the brand’s Product and Marketing teams.
Together with agency partners, Wazni will develop and execute Nissan’s overall strategy in the region, while closely collaborating with global Nissan marketing functions.

Abdulilah Wazni has had an illustrious career with Nissan in the region for over 15 years. Beginning his journey with the Japanese automaker working across several key roles in marketing, product planning and communications, his most recent position was that of General Manager Marketing at Nissan Saudi Arabia.

Wazni’s first responsibility in his new position will be to represent Nissan’s progress in future mobility. Nissan is the Official Automotive Partner of Expo 2020 Dubai and will aim to leverage the Expo as a platform to attain their (Nissan and Expo Dubai) shared vision to help shape the future of mobility and impact the society through innovation.
