The Middle East’s most electrifying car buyers’ showcase is back for 2019, putting on display more than one billion dirhams’ worth of cars, ranging from humble family movers to extravagant hypercars.
Also joining the show this year will be drones and hyperloop transport solutions which will provide a new perspective to future mobility. The message this year from the motor show is “Buckle up for big surprises”, as the biennial event gears up to offer visitors a thrilling ride into the future of mobility.
The show will open its doors to the public on 12th November, concluding on the 16th. Dubai World Trade Centre is hosting the event, promising the ultimate immersion into the world of motoring and transport industry. Era-defining tech, VR/AR displays, and some of the rarest cars on this planet will come together to create a gathering that every automotive enthusiast in the region looks forward to.
Dubai-based Group 63 will curate a selection of world-renowned hypercars at the Motor Show, ranging from exotic like Lamborghini Veneno to Gumpert Apollo S.
“At this year’s edition, we invite visitors to come and immerse themselves in the future of mobility where people can get up close with transformative smart car technology, the Virgin Hyperloop One, virtual reality test drives and augmented reality concept car launches all coming together at the Dubai International Motor Show,” says Andrew Wingrove, Director of the Motor Show.
Big names in the industry from all over the world will proudly put up their products for display at the Dubai International Motor Show 2019. These include Gargash, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Ferrari, Maserati, Lincoln, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Jaguar, Land Rover, Nissan, and Mitsubishi among others. The event will also serve as a launch pad for UAE-based Ajlani Motors and its new hypercar.
The crucial link between legacy and future
The motor show will prove exciting for petrolheads as well as commuters, displaying future mobility trends. Andrew Wingrove, Director of Dubai International Motor Show, said, “Without question, this year’s event will be the most advanced and experience-oriented in our 30-year history.

Notorious, an all-new hypercar from Lebanese brand Zedro SAL, will also mark its presence at the Dubai International Motor Show.
Ideal launchpad for modern automobiles and mobility services
Dubai International Motor Show has traditionally been welcoming for new brands that wish to showcase their unique products to the world. This year, Japanese hyper-EV maker Aspark is set to enthrall the world with the debut of its cutting-edge hypercar, the Aspark OWL. Contending for the title of the fastest car ever made, the OWL is claimed to rocket past 100kph within two seconds.
Closer to home, Lebanese luxury car brand Zedro SAL is preparing to unveil its own powerhouse of a car. Named Notorious, the hypercar boasts 1250hp of output. Chinese brand Hongqi will roll out no less than six new models at the mega event.
The Dubai International Motor Show includes a host of experiences designed to keep visitors entertained. Group 63, a club for AMG owners in Dubai, will curate the show’s Dh500 million Elite Club, putting more than 20 exotic hypercars on display.
Apart from this, high-speed go-karting, a full test drive area for buyers in the market for new cars, and live drifting by some of the best athletes are also on the cards. What’s more, a host of secret motoring celebrities and influencers will also be in attendance to share their tips and expertise on everything from car modification to motorsports.
With so many attractions, activities, and of course, incredible new cars added to the list, the 2019 Dubai International Motor Show is shaping up to be a gathering of massive proportions for automobile enthusiasts.
