Bentley Motors has concluded its centenary celebrations with its first-ever Middle East gathering of 100 cars in the UAE. Hosted in partnership with Bentley Emirates – the authorized Bentley dealer in the UAE – the event saw over 250 patrons, owners, and collectors in attendance.

The celebration was the first official Bentley community gathering in the Middle East and the first official celebration of the marque’s 100th birthday. For the first time ever, 100 Bentley cars gathered at the iconic Queen Elizabeth 2 in Port Rashid, Dubai. The congregation then proceeded to drive in a parade through the city to Al Habtoor’s Polo Resort & Club.

Bentley Centenary Celebrations

The year-round centenary celebrations conclude officially at the United Arab Emirates.

Bentley is now proudly 100 years old, and showcased its vision for the next 100 years earlier in 2019. The Bentley EXP 100 GT brought forth where the company is headed in the future. Autonomous driving capability, electric powertrain, the use of sustainable materials inside, artificial intelligence to assist the driver ad passengers, modular cabin: these are just some of the features of the prototype that go to show how much Bentley, a company steeped in legacy, is willing to adapt to be a future leader.

Spread across a century, Crewe has spawned many cars that have gone on to clinch race victories, ferry the worldly elite, serve in wars, and introduce industry-shaking technologies that quickly became norms. At the Dubai centenary parade, some of the illustrious models from Bentley’s past were also present.

The parade included all models from Bentley’s current range – the Mulsanne, Continental GT, Bentayga, and all-new Flying Spur – as well as cars like the Bentley Eight, Continental R, Continental Turbo, Brooklands, and Arnage. The oldest Bentley to take part in the celebration was an immaculate 1958 Continental S1.
