Maserati’s new definition of innovation, performance, and design

Maserati is marching its way to 2022 with a refreshed and glammed-up lineup with the newest offering of three new trims for its Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans and the Levante crossover SUV. These are the ‘entry level’ variant GT, mid-range Modena, and the range-topper Trofeo trim, which complement the brand’s DNA of innovation, performance, and design that speak of a new and specific type of character.

In a collaboration between Centro Stile Maserati and the Product Development Team, the trims followed in-depth research into dedicated materials, details, and characterizations.

Maserati’s embodiment of urban, minimal, and contemporary spirit is the GT Trim. Specifically, Ghibli and Levante get a mild 4-cylinder hybrid engine capable of a 330 HP equipped with an 18-inch alloy wheel rim. In contrast, the power of the Quattroporte differs with the 350 HP V6 engine and a 19-inch alloy wheel.

Enhanced with the Brand’s character, charm, and elegance, GT models, have a specialized interior finish with its Ghibli featuring a “Dark Mirror” trim with leather “comfort” seats. In addition, the Quattroporte is adorned with what Maserati refers to as “Radica” trim inside. And the Levante is dressed with piano black accents.

A dynamic elegance in a newly defined fun-to-drive

A different approach to elegance and power can be seen in Modena trim’s sporty look. This trim is best suited for people who look for a balance of elegance, dynamism, and fun-to-drive. Ghibli and Levante are equipped with a 350 HP V6 engine, and an additional upgrade to Modena S trim that is topped with a 430 HP is available for these models for a more thrilling experience. The Quattroporte meanwhile features a 430 HP V6 powerplant.

The exterior of the Modena models features athleticism through its sporty bumpers and boasted Black Piano inserts fitted with 20-inch wheels. However, the exclusive Modena S has a different exterior accent featuring the Nerrisimo Pack tailored with red calipers.

The interior elements for Modena evoke the Brand’s typical driving pleasure. The Levante and Quattroporte flaunt a Black Piano Trim with a sporty wrap-around leather seat, while the Ghibli is nested with the brand’s Dark Mirror décor.

Most powered trim, ultimate powertrain performance

Maserati’s Trofeo trim tops the line, which represents ultimate maximum performance with utmost comfort with its carbon-fibre exterior bits and the complementing red brake calipers. Ghibli, Quattroporte, and Levante each have a set of 21-inch wheels, with the Levante Trofeo having a 22-inch available.

Sitting under each hood is a Ferrari-built 580-horsepower twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8 for all the Trofeo trimmed Maseratis. The interior is dressed with sports seats and full-grain “Pieno Fiore” natural leather upholstery that matches the Trofeo’s powertrain.

Maserati is taking its A-game for styling with these new trim levels denoting in Ghibli, Quattroporte, and Levante models. The exterior of the new trims has the new Maserati logo (introduced with the launch of the MC20) on their bonnet. Each trim also gets a badging that will appear above the iconic side air ducts. In addition, white the C pillar will be engraved with the new Trident logo and a rear lettering update.
